Dr. Pavitra Patnaik in an experienced Neurosurgeon currently based in Nagpur. He has been trained by pioneers of Neurosurgery in India – Professor Damodar Rout (a vascular neurosurgeon of great renown) and Professor K Ganesh, an extremely skilled neurosurgeon and an equally wonderful human being. Dr. Patnaik gained vast experience in Neurosurgery at government hospitals as well as esteemed private neurosurgical centres. He has operated on about 8,300 cases over the last 10 years (since 2006), with special interest in Paediatric Neurosurgery, skull base surgery including pituitary tumours, cerebello-pontine angle tumours, cerebro-vascular surgery and complex spine surgery including disc prolapse and CV junction anomalies.

In the past Dr. Patnaik served as Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at the Super Speciality Hospital of Government Medical College in Nagpur (2006-14). He was Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Grant Medical College, Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, from 2014, and has also headed the Department of Neurosurgery at Ganga Care Hospital in Nagpur. Dr. Patnaik took over as Director of Kalpavruksha Neurosurgery and Multispeciality Critical Care Hospital, Nagpur, in 2016.
